The Peacock Primary Bathroom

Greenville, South Carolina

Reimagining a Dated Bath with Designer Vision

Designed by Kerl Design, this bathroom remodeling project redefines personality and function for a home in Greenville, SC. The original space included a large garden tub, long double vanity, and tight shower. By removing the tub and resizing the layout, we created a more efficient, spa-like environment using existing plumbing for cost efficiency.

Smart, Budget-Conscious Improvements
Strategic updates—like repositioning the toilet and optimizing cabinetry—improved flow without expanding the footprint. The new vanity adds customized storage, integrated lighting, and balanced proportions, demonstrating how budget-smart design can still achieve luxury results.
Beauty Meets Accessibility
The shower’s low curb, half wall, and clear glass panels open the space visually while supporting accessible design. A recessed niche with a built-in grab bar doubles as an artful accent, proving safety and style can coexist beautifully.
Color, Pattern, and Personality
Inspired by a striking peacock wallpaper, the palette of blues, golds, and turquoise defines the space. Crisp white wainscoting and champagne fixtures add balance, while in-drawer outlets and custom lighting enhance usability. This vibrant remodel exemplifies Kerl Design’s artistry in accessible luxury bathroom design.
